sparks

it’s been awhile and i need to get more on top of things. posting should be like a sense of relief for me, right? my photography showed ended over a month ago, but it went really well. i successfully sold 8 photographs. i have to admit i have such a devoted fan basis in the people i have met before and since my photography has become a real passion.

i am so ready to embark on another new journey. where that is or what that entails doing i am not sure yet. there are many areas of my daily life, which are in need of improvement and revitalization. i gradated in december of 2005; however, i am still doing the same thing i was doing back in december. i feel i am over due to move up and move on. first i have to have somewhere to go and something to do. it is not as easy as some would think, just because one holds a degree does not mean he/she is guaranteed a job…let alone a really good job.

without doubt, i know all things will change in one way or another. i look forward to the good and dread the bad. i have been trying to step back and truly appreciate the simple things in life and enjoy. for the past few months it has become a regular event to get together at my friends amanda’s house on saturday evening, cook some food and just enjoy the company. i value the time and look forward to seeing everyone. things don’t often change in a week but i guess it’s really the subtle changes that take place that could perhaps be the most important.

i have some busy times ahead, but i look forward to them. i have weddings to photograph, websites to design and other little side jobs to occupy me. i hopefully will have more details to share. i am really hoping to revamp my blog and make it more of something see and read. as for now i am off for the weekend to see friends, eat good food, and take some fotos. have a great weekend!

happy 4th of july!

4th of july

i remember a sidewalk sale, and a friend having a cook out.

to me that is what the 4th of july was all about.

we would go to the amusement park to have a little fun. we told jokes and played games until the setting of the sun.

when the sun went down the rockets would fly.

everyone was a different color, the bursts would catch your eye. firework wars with the neighboring town, roman candle and saturn missiles are how we got down.

bombs bursting in the air would light up the night’s sky.

this is how i would celebrate the 4th of july.

the way i see it #69

you can work for peace on earth every day, in the comfort of your very own car. it's easy; just follow the golden rule. don't like being honked at? don't honk at anyone except in warning. want to be let into traffic? let others in. don't like waiting for the intersection to clear after the light turns red? then don't push the lights? what else can you do for peace today?

personality analysis

i came across a personality analysis that i got from the state fair based off my handwriting...about 10 years ago. it made me wonder how much of it was true then vs. how much is actually true now and also if i was being analized today would the results be even close to the same.

***your personality analysis by televac***

you are good at organizing activities.

you prefer taking a chance to a sure thing.

your bark is much much worse than your bite.

you bargain well and would be good at buying and selling.

you enjoy showing your affection for loved ones in public.

adventurous and daring, you will take risks to get the things you want.

you are impulsive and spontaneous in your actions.

you trust people and give them more rope than others might think wise.

your self confidence is admired by others.

sometimes you feel that ordinary laws are not for you.

you are independent and like making your own decisions.

you should take care to be tactful i everything you do.

we go through so many changes as we travel through life. i can see and feel differences in myself as far as who i was 10 years ago and who i am now. i just wonder though, how much of my actual personality has changed. if i asked those that i knew 10 years ago what my personality was like and if it was the same or simlar today...i wonder what their answers would be. wondering and curiosity often get me in trouble and develiver few results these days...but i think today it is just another part of my personality...if not then...it is now...
